  This year German Humanitarian Assistance will start assisting students that have completed the secondary school education in continuing the University education in Germany and post graduate students in a further carriere.

International exchanges are invaluable experiences, both personally and professionally. IHA study programs will offer to International Students the opportunity to learn from other cultures, make new friends and contacts, and expand their horizons.

In addition, on the year 2004 German Humanitarian Assistance started supporting Albanian students and scholars to study in Germany. German Humanitarian Assistance serves as a major support for the ones that are interested to continue their university studies, Master Degrees, PhD and other training courses and post university studies in Germany.

Our intention is to help students from developing countries like Albania, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia, Yougoslavia and others gain a weastern education. We identify and train the next generation of professionals by working together with universities, nongovernmental organizations, foundations, governments, and corporations

 Additional Information
  Students that are interested to study in Germany are required to have a sufficient knowlede of German in order to be able to follow the lectures and seminars and to receive credits hours for the university courses. Prior to the enrollement at the University, students interested for a specific degree program are required to pass a Test on German Language.

Life Skills Based Education

Life Skills Based Education Program in 16 ditricts of Albania: Tirane Durres, Librazhd, Gramsh, Devoll, Korce, Kolonje, Pogradec, Berat Kucove, Skrapar, Malesi e Madhe, Has, Tepelene, Gjirokaster and Mallakaster

 
Training and establishment of the CHCs and the extension of the FP and STD concepts in the pilot district of Kavaja - Albania

Training of 24 volunteers of IHA by SEATS / USAID experts. They became Training of the Trainers (ToTs) for the Community Health Committee members formed by IHA.

 
Marathone of hope

IHA volunteers, the main organisers, fund raisers and runners of the Marathone of Hope in Albania.
